Things sure have progressed quickly around here. Eliáš is almost nine months and Evelina is a *spirited* three year old. Katka and I have learned a lot about parenting, often the hard way of course. But the fun times continue to get more ridiculous and better than ever. Everyone is still alive with both eyes intact so I'm calling that a victory.

I'm not quite sure this stroller is going to survive until Eliáš is done with napping. Maybe we should stop using it as a shopping cart / wheelbarrow.

There is a lot more kids being kids with more than one to look after around here. I think one definitely builds a tolerance for a mild level of chaos ongoing in the background. The worst is that eerie silence.

Apparently there was a white Christmas in Prague this year. But having spent the winter holidays in New York again this year we haven't seen more than a inch of snow or freezing tempters for any significant length of time. In fact there were some downright nice days in February as you can see here.

Still cold enough for a little hot chocolate; its the ice-cream of the winter.

There are a whole generation of Ultimate players growing families in and around Prague these days. EJ and Eliáš are right in the thick of it. I'm hoping we can find time for Katka to play so that we have a reason to go to the outdoor tournaments this spring and spin around some more with them.

Evelina also has some excellent friends from my colleagues at work. I have twins as friends but didn't at her age. Those three together are a fun explosion.

My sister came for a visit and she brought her son Adrian. He is five days older than Eliáš. They get along fantastically. Its like having twins with twice the parents. They are in Sweden and so I'm really looking forward to hanging out three or four times a year.

My parents come to visit Stockholm and Prague each summer. My sister's family will join us in Prague as well this summer. We visited Stockholm in the fall and we all went for Christmas to Syracuse. I think my parents sometimes think think we don't get that much time together. But honestly, I'm not sure we would see that much more of each other if we were all in the same city. We certainly wouldn't be treating it all like such an occasion all the time. It makes the intensity of the visits seem higher. I don't mind that.

Here Eliáš and Adrian are out for a little taste of spring. It think it was probably Eliáš first exploration of the earth maybe ever. It tastes just fine.

Not everyone is always so taken in by the little guys. EJ struggles from time to time not being mommy's only one. She does treat her little brother quite well and she love Adrian. She doesn't even bear hug Eliáš until he cries anymore. I'm really looking forward to having fun with all these kids.

Eliáš started studying Swedish.

As for my birthday, EJ has been sick for a week and on antibiotics. Eliáš is getting symptoms and getting three top teeth all at once. So yea...
