Spring is in full swing here in Prague. Plenty of sunshine and parks for gathering on the weekends. On this day the only item on the schedule was relaxation and good humor. Here are EJ with friends Tala and Pau. They are members of a baby group started with the other babies at ISP born around the same time as Evelina. Since then, the group has grown as have the members and the friendships between their mothers.
Tala and Pau's parents both worked at ISP before their arrival. Now Liezel stays home with the girls and Jesus teaches Spanish directly adjacent to my Guided Study room. It's nice to have a father of twins as a close colleague to remind you how easy a job you have with only one baby.
Another two members of the baby group are Aija and little Madara. Her father David is the German teacher at ISP and has a classroom just down the hall from Jesus and I.
It will be really interesting to see how all these girls get along as they get older and closer in age. Right now just a few months makes them completely different. In a year from now they will almost be developmentally the same age.
It is difficult with a city baby but I hope that she is connected to nature as much as possible.
Much like her father EJ appears to have a healthy lust for beer bottles.
No matter how spectacular the toys parents give their kids nothing is more interesting to them than exactly what their parents find interesting.
Another member of the baby group, David.
