We are experimenting with some lightweight nylon fabrics to make shorts for summer bike riding. I've also chosen some sturdy awning fabric for the seat.
Like all the 4k shorts, unsnapping the snaps allows you to see the mesh stripe. This makes the shorts more breathable and perfect for summer biking around town.

This charcoal colored fabric seen here is the most exciting addition to our collection. It is manufactured in the UK by a firm cal Ventile. Developed for the UK airforce, this fabric repels water and when wet its fibers swell making it windproof and weather tight.
In addition to giving protection from rain Ventile fabric is lightweight, soft and breathable because it is 100% cotton.
I work hard to make men's fashion more useful and visually dynamic by combining a variety of textures, colors and luminosities. In addition to the weather resistant front the seat is made from sturdy linen and the vent stripe uses Lycra with an eye grabbing print.
I was very pleased to find such a unique stripe woven into the durable cotton fabric seen here. I always take pride in creating something completely original both in design and fabric.
